Who we Are

AODstats, run by the National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit (NAMHSU) team, is owned by Turning Point, which is part of Eastern Health. AODstats takes your privacy seriously and complies with the Health Records Act 2001 (Vic), the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic), Mental Health Act 2014 (Vic) and the Privacy and Data Protection Act (2014), which protect the use and disclosure of personal information.

What personal information we collect

AODstats only provides statistical informational through its interactions with consumers, and will not release personal information of its consumers.

AODstats collects your personal contact information through our interactions with you, such as when you visit our website, when we communicate via email or telephone, or when you enter your personal information on the AODstats subscription page.

How we collect personal information

When you access our website, a record of your visit is kept through analytics, for statistical purposes only. Personal contact information provided via online subscription forms will be stored in databases, and only used for the purpose for which you have provided (i.e. providing website and information updates and asking for user feedback). AODstats will only record your email address if you send us a message by email.  Your e-mail address will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to a mailing list or used for any other purpose without your prior written consent. You can send a specific written request o remove your contact information from our subscription database or email contact list.
